My fiance and I are in our mid 20s and are planning to go on a nice fall getaway for the weekend in mid-October. We want to go somewhere where there is nice fall foliage, a good restaurant scene, bar scene, and somewhere scenic. We are considering Salem, MA because of it’s history. Any suggestions? We don’t want to be too isolated, somewhere scenic, quaint, maybe even historic with nice fall colors is preferable, perhaps New England area or upstate NY? Any ideas are welcome! Thank you!
