I just did something stupid! I booked a flight for the wife and I on THE WRONG WEEKEND! Now I need to change the weekend and want to know if I will get a better deal re-booking through the airline (united) or the website (cheap tickets.com) that I booked the tickets through?

I am trying to surprise my girlfriend on Valentines Day/ Presidents Day weekend with a trip to Vegas. I want to get at least a 4 star hotel without paying over 0 a night. I was thinking online deals would be best but any other suggestions (travel agent etc.) would be greatly appreciated.

A 3 day weekend is upon us. I want to do SOMETHING. I’m looking at travel deals and see flights to Seattle. So let’s say I get to Seattle tomorrow at about noon and I stay here. 16720 International Blvd, Sea Tac, WA 98188
What do I do? I have until Monday. So what to do on Saturday and Sunday? I’ve heard the music scene is great but where do I go? What do I need to see? Is that hotel address within walking or public transportation distance of the fun stuff?

All my friends went home this weekend. I’m so annoyed because I wanted them to travel with me, since we all work for airlines. Whatever. I want to go so where should I? The problem is that I don’t know where I can sleep for really cheap/free since I’m not splitting a hotel with anyone.
Anyone know of any hot deals out there?

ok i would like to book a trip (hotel and airfare) to las vegas memorial day weekend…i live in new york…last month i found a great package deal on expedia for 530..(thats airfare + hotel)…unfortunately it went up now..i should have booked it last month…i would like to spend anywhere between 500 to 600 on airfare and hotel…heres the info…
i would like to fly out may 22, 2009 (any nyc airport)
and return may 26th, 2009 (las vegas airport)
and i want to stay at the mandalay bay hotel…i dont like connecting flights so please no connecting flights and make sure its round trip…if somewhere can get me info on these dates and the mandalay bay hotel then i would really appreciate it..please send me the link and the source…i would give u 10 points for this!!!

This will be the first trip I’m planning for myself and i’m a little ignorant to what exactly I should be looking for. I just need a car and a hotel room to say in for about 4 days. Now for the hotel besides pictures and guest comments what else should I be aware of when choosing a hotel? I’m not too much of a gambler so the casino is not a big deal to me. I plan on going to South Jersey to hit the beach and Philly to party and shop a little in between nothing major. What sites do you recommend I should book thru? Should I just do it all my self no sites involved? Any suggestions as to what I can do down there for fun?

I can never figure out how to get the travel deals you see from airlines when they advertise. What do they mean by travel dates must be off-peak? Does it mean it can’t be over the weekend?

We are going 4th of July weekend. Probably about 10 guys. We want to stay at MGM Grand or a similar hotel. Hotel is our only real focus – people are traveling from all over to get there.
Can you call these hotels up and say, "We got 10-12 people, can you hook us up with a decent deal" or what is the best way to play it? Thanks in advance.
