Looking for an Inexpensive Weekend Getaway on the East Coast?

My friend and I are looking to take a weekend getaway in April, and are looking for ideas for the weekend. We are trying to go inexpensive, and will be driving. We are located near Washington DC and have done DC many times, so we are kind of looking for something new to try. Any suggestions?

Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, Savannah’s historic district/Tybee Island, Charleston’s historic district, Atlanta and Philadelphia are all in driving distance and make for a great weekend get away.
