i was looking for a one day getaway this weekend, somewhere preferably newly remodeled and clean. my price range is about -0 a night (pre-tax) anything near a beach or water would be great. i would love to have an in room jacuzzi or a whirlpool bath for two but i know they are pretty hard to find. i have been looking around and would like opinions on where i can get the most for my money. thanks so much!
My boyfriend and I have decided to skip prom and utilize the weekend. We want to have or own weekend getaway for just the two of us. The thing is we do not have a lot of money so our budget is tight. We live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast so if you have any ideas for that Gulf Coast other than than the Gulfport/Biloxi area that would be great.
We’ve been in San Diego a few months. I’m looking for something my husband and I can do together that is kinda romantic. We’d like to get out of the city, but we don’t have a ton of money. I’m a SAHM. We’ve been to all of the parks, so that’s a no go. Besides camping, what can we do around here for a cheap weekend together? We don’t mind driving a little ways, but a resort or anything like that is out of the question.

I am planning a trip with some friends. We are working college students and therefore somewhat low on money, so we are trying to find cheap vacation destinations in or around Virginia, 3-4 days long. Bordering states would be fine, but nothing too far away. Any ideas??
A friend of mine recently moved to Florida a month or two ago. My fiance and I told her we were going to look into taking a weekend getaway to go see her (we live in PA)..but the plane tickets were 0 EACH which is well beyond what we wants to spend for 2 days away right now.
She was supposed to come to PA in December, but told me today that "she is canceling the trip because she wants her friends to come see her FIRST because she ‘always’ jumps when people want her to"
2 things bother me about this: #1) No, she doesnt always ‘jump’, as a matter of fact when she was living in NY it was ME who traveled to see HEr and #2) Not for nothing, but her fiance has a GREAT job, where she doesnt even have to work at all. where her other friends are in college AND working full time.
